Lecturer 

Christian Schwedes

Christian Schwedes is an assistant lecturer at the Institute for Human Geography since November 2009. His actual research is focused on the analysis of the international spread and transfer of urban revitalization attempts in the context of business improvement districts. From 2007 to 2009 he was in charge of the project “Documentation of Crime Preventive Projects und Campaigns in support of PrävIS”. He studied Social Geography, Geographical Information Science an Urban Planning at the University of Münster and the University of Lund/Sweden. His Diploma thesis researched the topic of crime prevention approaches in German schools.
