Steven I. Higgins

Professor for Applied Physical Geography
Biography: Steven Higgins studied Botany and Zoology at the University of the Witwatersrand and obtained a PhD in Botany from the University of Cape Town. His main interests lie in understanding how interactions between organisms and the environment influence vegetation patterns. He uses experimental studies, monitoring of ecological processes and dynamic modelling.
