Dr. Jie Gao is an Associate Professor in the College of Transportation Engineering at Chang'an University. Previously, she was awarded JSPS postdoctoral fellowship and worked at Nagoya University in Japan. She received her PhD in December 2019 from Utrecht University. Dr. Gao has a strong interest in the field of exploring relationships between travel behavior, the built environment and public health, and the implications for cycling network design. She is experienced in collecting and analyzing quantitative data. She has collaborated with many researchers around the world and has published many high-quality papers.
